BRIDGE has been created to help individuals transition from the INTRODUCTION to West Coast Swing to the higher level classes, LABORATORY and NEXT STEPS .

Although attending the INTRO class several times provides you with the necessary tools to advance to LAB and NEXT STEPS, joining more experienced dancers can still feel intimidating. In the BRIDGE classes, we will cover various topics to enhance your dance skills, including improving your movement quality, refining your triple steps, developing a deeper understanding of connection, exploring Whip technique in greater depth, and enhancing your spins and turns, among other things. Ultimately, this class will be tailored to meet the participants' needs, helping them feel more confident in their dancing.

We will begin with an hour of instruction and end with 30 minutes of social dancing with NEXT STEPS and INTORDUCTION class participants. Creating a safe and welcoming space is our top priority, so please read the code of conduct before attending. Registration is optional but strongly encouraged as details are always subject to change. To attend you will want to have completed the INTRO course at least once and/or feel comfortable with Passes, Pushes, Starter Step and Throw Out.
